Playing The Sims Life Stories

A long time ago in a decade far away (okay, last decade), The Sims franchise came out with The Sims Life Stories. While the game had a story-mode which was kind of cool, what I loved at the time was that it would run smoothly on any laptop. This was something that wasn’t common at the time, so being able to play Life Stories on a crappy laptop was exceedingly wonderful. Yet, I can’t exactly remember much of the story other than the game letting me know I couldn’t have a larger family size due to global warming (and of course, laptop compatibility and RAM). In a super-bonus, I’m pretty sure I picked up the game for about $20 at Walmart. And, since I was prone to damaging my other Sims disks, this was an excellent way to play at the time.

Get Graphics Rule Maker (works for Life stories and all other sims).

So, today I’m installing Life Stories for the first time in many years… and I’m kind of excited. Why? I don’t know, I suppose I have nothing better to do on my final week of Christmas vacation…

I've been a gamer since the first time I ever touched a computer (2001). Rollercoaster Tycoon, whatever came from a cereal box. You name it. Random java? Yep! Habbo? Yep. I've been playing The Sims since 2004. I've played every iteration, but the Sims 2 will always remain as my very favourite. I'm passionate about getting others involved in playing the Sims 2 and sharing my stories, as well as trying my hand at CC. But, I also love the other Sims games (Castaway Stories anybody?) GTA, RPGs, City-Builders, I play them all.
