At first glance, Palworld feels like a barren survival world with a few scattered survivors and pals running wild. While this isn’t untrue, there are settlement camps with survivors, and in these camps you can use the in-game gold to make purchases and sell items (and pals). In a dark twist, you can also use this to sell pals (and … humans?) to vendors. The merchant for items is separate from the one for pals.

In this small town, many items can be bought and sold for gold. The awesome thing is that once you find this town once, there’s a spawn point for respawning back to your base. One of my favourite features of Palworld that’s not often featured in survival games is the ability to travel with your full inventory without any penalties. This is beyond useful and makes the world feel more accessible and easier to navigate. Your pals also use up your inventory from boxes for crafting, so there’s no need to worry about micromanaging.

Below is a screenshot of the map location for the small settlement.

The pal merchant is in another shop (up some stairs).

The pal vendor is great because you can quickly sell all of the pals that you don’t like or don’t want.

For dramatic effect I parachuted into the town. One must have a grand entrance on their first shopping excursion.

I've been a gamer since the first time I ever touched a computer (2001). Rollercoaster Tycoon, whatever came from a cereal box. You name it. Random java? Yep! Habbo? Yep. I've been playing The Sims since 2004. I've played every iteration, but the Sims 2 will always remain as my very favourite. I'm passionate about getting others involved in playing the Sims 2 and sharing my stories, as well as trying my hand at CC. But, I also love the other Sims games (Castaway Stories anybody?) GTA, RPGs, City-Builders, I play them all.
